About Me

I am a Perioperative Nurse and Robotic Surgery Specialist with over 16 years of experience in high-complexity healthcare institutions. Throughout my career, I have built a professional pathway that integrates advanced clinical practice, teaching, research, and innovation, always guided by a commitment to patient-centered care and the advancement of the nursing profession.

I hold a Master's degree in Nursing and postgraduate qualifications in Robotic Surgery Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Emergency Nursing, Nursing Auditing, Nursing Education, and Higher Education Teaching. My professional experience encompasses direct patient care, the coordination and implementation of robotic surgery programs, the education and training of healthcare professionals, and the development of initiatives aimed at improving the quality and safety of perioperative care.

As both an undergraduate and graduate nursing educator, I view education as a powerful tool for preparing competent, ethical, and critically minded healthcare professionals capable of addressing the challenges of an ever-evolving healthcare system. My work emphasizes the integration of scientific knowledge, technological innovation, and evidence-based clinical practice.

My research interests include the nursing workforce, occupational health, perioperative safety, robotic surgery, and nursing education. I have conducted research on workplace violence, COVID-19-related occupational illness among nursing professionals, ergonomic risks, perioperative care processes, the implementation of robotic surgery programs, and nursing workforce dynamics.

I believe that investing in the well-being and professional development of nurses is essential to creating safer work environments, strengthening healthcare systems, and improving patient outcomes. For this reason, I am committed to conducting research that promotes innovative, sustainable, and evidence-based solutions to advance healthcare delivery and the nursing profession.

My long-term goal is to further expand my academic and professional career through a PhD focused on nursing workforce sustainability, occupational safety, technological innovation, and advances in perioperative practice. I aspire to contribute to the development of public policies, educational strategies, and innovative technologies that strengthen the nursing profession and improve outcomes for patients, healthcare professionals, and healthcare organizations.

More than practicing nursing, I believe in transforming lives through compassionate care, education, research, and innovation.

“Dedicated to advancing nursing science through education, research, and innovation.”
